Yes, we know installation is often seen as a do-it-yourself job but professional installation can make a huge difference in how long your area rug investment wears and lasts. Many of Kermans installers have been working with us for 15 years or more and their experience will make the difference in your new floor.
Preparing for area rug installation.
Kermans offers a Deliver and Placement service for your fine new rug. Please inquire with your Design Consultant for details. We also offer different types of underlay pads to prevent rugs from slipping and sliding. An underlay is a very important part of the area rug purchase as it also prolongs the life of the rug and adds comfort.
Your Kermans design consultant is available from start to finish – from area rug selection thru installation. Before you visit our showroom, we’d like to suggest a few questions to consider.
Installation Checklist
- Disconnect and remove all computers and electronic equipment from rooms where flooring is to be installed.
- Remove all breakable items from areas where flooring is to be installed, and place the items in a safe location.
- Remove all items from tabletops, desktops, etc.
- Empty and store the contents of bookshelves, entertainment centers, armoires, etc.
